Nota AI Expands AI Optimization Business, Enters "AI Agent Operations Optimization" Market to Secure New Growth Driver

Nota AI, a company specializing in AI model optimization and compression technology led by CEO Myungsu Chae, today announced it is entering a new growth phase by broadening the application of its AI optimization technology across both its platform and solution businesses.

The company's platform business has expanded beyond mobile and edge devices into data centers and the global AI semiconductor ecosystem, building on its existing AI model optimization technology. Its solution business, meanwhile, has entered the enterprise AI transformation (AX) market with technology that improves the operational efficiency of enterprise AI agents, establishing a new growth axis for the company.

Nota AI characterized the first half of 2026 as a period in which its business fundamentals and growth foundation strengthened alongside revenue, rather than one defined by revenue growth alone. The company solidified its revenue base from existing customer contracts while simultaneously expanding into AI agent operations, broadening the reach of its AI optimization technology.

Revenue from existing customers accounted for approximately 60% of total revenue in the first half. The company said continued follow-on contracts with existing customers, in addition to new projects, are strengthening its foundation for repeatable revenue.

The company's order backlog stood at more than KRW 11.6 billion (approximately $8.5 million) as of the end of the first half, more than double the level from the same period a year earlier. Nota AI said it plans to continue building on this backlog to expand its growth foundation going forward.

NetsPresso, Nota AI's AI model compression and optimization platform, is expanding beyond its traditional focus on mobile and edge applications into data centers and the global AI semiconductor ecosystem. Building on its mobile and edge AI reference base established primarily with Samsung Electronics, the company this year expanded its customer base to include Arm, FuriosaAI and Mobilint, extending the reach of its AI optimization technology into the data center market.

The company's solution business is likewise expanding into the enterprise AX market. NVA (Nota Vision Agent), its vision-language model (VLM)-based video monitoring solution, continues to expand across industries including manufacturing, industrial safety, transportation, shipbuilding, and automotive and mobility. Most recently, the company extended its reach into the AI agent-based enterprise AX market, signing a contract with MetaM, a leading AI contact center company, to jointly build a next-generation AI customer service system.

Nota AI reported consolidated revenue of KRW 7.41 billion (approximately $5.4 million) for the first half of 2026.

During the first half, the company increased its research and development investment to advance next-generation AI optimization technology and AI infrastructure efficiency technology. Nota AI described this as forward-looking investment to support the expansion of its global platform business and its new AI agent operations optimization business.
