Nota AI, an AI model compression and optimization technology company, announced that it will showcase Nota Vision Agent, its AI-powered video surveillance solution capable of reducing server infrastructure costs by up to 85%, at Korea Construction & Safety Expo 2026.
Held from Oct. 14 to 16 at KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea, the exhibition brings together construction companies and technology providers focused on smart construction and workplace safety.
Nota Vision Agent is a vision-language model (VLM)-based video intelligence solution powered by Nota AI’s model compression and optimization technology. It analyzes objects, human behavior and situational context in video streams in real time, helping site operators identify risks and respond more effectively. Its AI agent can also explain detected events in natural language and automatically generate reports, reducing the manual workload involved in reviewing footage and documenting incidents.
The solution is currently used across industrial safety, intelligent transportation systems and AI-assisted video monitoring applications.
A key advantage of Nota Vision Agent is its ability to reduce the computing resources required for video analytics while maintaining high processing performance. Nota AI reduces model computation and memory requirements while optimizing execution for the characteristics of each target hardware platform.
With this approach, customers can analyze up to twice as many video channels using the same server resources, or reduce server infrastructure costs by up to 85%, depending on the deployment environment. The optimization also allows Nota Vision Agent to operate across a wide range of infrastructure, from servers and cloud environments to mobile and edge devices.
For enterprises, this provides greater flexibility in how AI video surveillance systems are deployed. Customers can make better use of existing infrastructure or select hardware based on required performance, deployment scale and budget, rather than relying on a single hardware configuration.
Nota AI has built its optimization capabilities through work across a broad range of AI models and processors, providing AI model compression and optimization technologies to companies including Samsung Electronics, Arm, FuriosaAI and Mobilint. The company is applying this expertise to industrial video surveillance, optimizing AI workloads for different customer infrastructure and operating environments.
The same optimization technology can be repeatedly adapted across different deployment conditions, allowing Nota AI to extend its solution beyond industrial safety into manufacturing, construction and transportation. By optimizing AI models for each computing environment, the company can accommodate differences in camera count, server infrastructure and performance requirements across customer sites.
Nota Vision Agent is currently deployed at industrial sites operated by more than 20 companies, including Kolon Industries. At Korea Construction & Safety Expo 2026, Nota AI will present use cases based on these field deployments, including heavy-equipment safety monitoring, work-procedure compliance, hazardous situation detection and personal protective equipment monitoring.
The company will also offer on-site consultations for enterprise customers. Nota AI construction safety specialists will visit participating customer sites, assess potential risk factors and propose customized improvements using AI agents.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to experience Nota Vision Agent through a live demonstration. When participants wearing protective equipment such as helmets, masks and gloves enter a designated restricted area, the system will detect both PPE compliance and restricted-area access, with analysis results displayed in real time.
“As enterprise adoption of AI grows, the key question is no longer simply whether a company has access to a capable AI model, but how efficiently that model can run on the infrastructure already in place,” said Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI. “By optimizing both AI models and hardware execution, Nota AI helps customers improve infrastructure utilization while reducing the resources required to deploy and operate AI.”
“Building on our real-world experience in industrial safety and video intelligence, we will continue expanding our optimization technology and solutions across manufacturing, construction, transportation and other industries,” Chae added.
