Press Release
October 20, 2026

Developers from around the world gained detailed insights into Arm AI Model Optimizer, built on NetsPresso®, through a hands-on workshop at Arm Create 2026 in San Jose, where they explored how model optimization can support AI development in Arm-based environments. Arm AI Model Optimizer, part of Arm AI Portal , is available to developers in early access.
The workshop, hosted by Arm and supported by Nota AI, was designed to help developers in the Arm ecosystem experience Arm AI Model Optimizer and assess how it could support their projects. The hands-on format allowed participants to work directly with AI models, review optimization results and explore how the tool could fit into their existing development workflows.
At Arm Create, participants reviewed execution results and explored how different optimization approaches could affect model performance and resource requirements.
Participants learned how to apply Arm AI Model Optimizer to their own projects. They were able to raise questions around supported AI models and hardware, as well as ways to compare optimization results and evaluate the tool within existing development environments. These questions are also answered in supporting product documentation.
As AI models grow in size and complexity, optimization is becoming increasingly important to delivering the required performance across a wide range of Arm-based target hardware, from cloud to edge and physical AI. Arm AI Model Optimizer, built on NetsPresso®, provides AI model optimization capabilities, including model quantization and graph optimization, that can reduce computational and memory requirements and improve execution efficiency. These capabilities can help developers adapt AI models for deployment across different hardware environments.
Developers can continue testing Arm AI Model Optimizer through early access. Once granted access, participants can run optimization experiments in their own development environments and provide feedback based on their models, hardware and development requirements.
The continued testing is intended to help developers build practical experience with AI model optimization beyond the workshop and to share their notable use cases Feedback will also be used to improve the tool’s capabilities and usability across a range of models and hardware environments.
“The goal of this program is to help developers around the world use Arm AI Model Optimizer, built on NetsPresso®, in real-world product and service development,” said Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI. “We will use the optimization needs identified across the Arm developer ecosystem to strengthen our platform, support enterprise adoption and expand our global business opportunities.”
“To enable developers to build their best AI applications, it’s essential they have a fast, simple path from AI model selection to deployment,” said Sharbani Roy, VP, AI and Developer Platforms, Arm. “Arm AI Portal brings together pre-optimized models, performance insights and optimization tooling to accelerate AI application development on Arm. As a key part of Arm AI Portal, Arm AI Model Optimizer helps developers tune their own custom models to meet the performance and efficiency requirements of their next great AI application.”
